Booty Balm vs. the “Other” Brands

Most conventional creams (like Desitin) lean heavily on zinc oxide (up to 40%). Desitin is also mixed with petrolatum, mineral oil, and synthetic ingredients that coat the skin (which does block moisture) but doesn’t nourish, feed or restore the skin beneath. Most creams are also sticky, pasty, and notoriously hard to wipe off.  Booty Balm, on the other hand, glides on like butter and soaks in smoothly. No ghostly white residue, no tugging at tender skin, just a silky layer of protection that doubles as healing care. 

Many “natural” brands also use essential oils. We do not!  These are highly concentrated and can lead to more irritation.  We infuse the herbs directly into the carrier oil, making them more medicinal, safe and effective.
